Cabernet Merlot 2005
About the most complete red wine yet from Laurance. Ripe, savoury blackcurrant and dark chocolate plum flavours, with a rich powerfully structured palate carrying to a long finish. It's slightly chunky and firm but will develop nicely over the next few years.
Score:85/100

Cabernet Merlot 2006
Bright crimson red colour. The aroma is spicy with a little sour cherry and red currant nuance. The palate is tight and restrained with a slightly angular mouth feel.
Score:84/100

Cabernet Merlot 2007 ($22.50)
Beautifully rich and robust blend from this very good vintage. It retains a supple richness while packing some real kick with ripe assertive tannins and a little oak infusion. The palate is warm and fleshy and ideal for drinking over the next few years.
Score:87/100

Cabernet Sauvignon 2005
Thoroughly beautiful example of Margaret River Cabernet, this. From the seductive perfumed bouquet to the poised and deliciously succulent palate it's all Cabernet class. Love the mix of mint and blackcurrant with the cedary oak and fine powdery tannins. One of the best yet in this distinguished line.
Score:95/100

Chardonnay 2007
From the first sniff you get the impression of a classy wine of some sophistication. Mealy cashew and gentle lurking grapefruit reveal themselves in a subtle opening. The rich and texturally pleasing plate offers layers of complexity. Rich and creamy with some restraint on the finish.
Score:90/100

Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2007 ($22.50)
This is the quintessential example of the Sem Sav Blanc. A piercing bracing and racy blend with a zippy crunchy acid sustain a long precise palate. Slightly herbaceous with some tropical gooseberry and citrus characters.
